Photo Holidays

Both your hosts are experienced photographers and we will be pleased to try and pass on some of our expertise.  Most of the photographs on this web site (except otherwise credited) have been taken by Sarah or Steve.  We use a Canon EOS 20D and a Nikon D40X digital SLRs.  Orkney is a wonderful place for photography as the light is long, or low, or both, and the shifting skies (they're huge!) and seas mean that no view remains the same for more than a few seconds.  The top thumbnails below were taken by Sarah, and the bottom ones by Steve:

Sarah is happiest lugging tripods to capture wildlife in its element (strange person!).  Steve is more into landscapes, but whatever your preference we can help.  Both Sarah and Steve have had many photographs published, but our enthusiasm for photography and the Orcadian light remains undimmed....why not give us a try?
